Brittany has been a licensed professional counselor since 2005 and founded Anthology Counseling and Wellness in 2014. She currently works with adolescents and adult individuals and couples dealing with a variety of issues including anxiety, depression, ADHD, grief, and relational conflict. A particular area of interest is working with other counselors, providing support for those who are helping others. She has a Christian worldview and is comfortable incorporating faith in her work for those who desire its inclusion.

Most of Brittany’s clients describe themselves as high functioning but “stuck.” Typically, they have read articles or books to try to work on an issue, and some have already tried therapy before; but all have been unable to move past their “stuckness.” Brittany enjoys working with people to find a new perspective or way of thinking about their issue and to find new strategies to address and finally move past the “stuck point.” Recognizing the challenge of therapy and fully respecting her clients’ willingness to make lasting change in their lives, she maintains an empathic and direct style, meeting clients where they are and supporting their work to move to where they want to be.

Brittany offers life coaching services in addition to counseling for those who are focused on achieving a well-defined goal. Coaching is not a substitute for counseling. Brittany has enjoyed working with multiple small business owners (often women) as they navigate the challenges in industry. These services are available both in person and virtually.
