Ginny received an undergraduate degree in Psychology and Criminal Justice from Baylor University and has a Masters in Marriage and Family Counseling from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. She first gained experience working in a church counseling center for four years and then in private practice beginning in 2014.
Through working with couples, teenagers, and individual women, Ginny has helped clients who struggle with anxiety, depression, and relational conflict and have experienced abuse, trauma, and grief. She is trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), which is a therapy that enables healing from traumatic and anxiety-provoking experiences, and also uses a cognitive-behavioral and family systems approach.
Her ultimate goal is to offer hope and to provide a safe environment for clients to process struggles and to find comfort in all seasons of life.
